Similar to other direct primary care (DPC) doctors, I charge a monthly fee for my services. I do not contract with or bill insurance companies. This straightforward membership model gives me the freedom to care for you with the time, attention, and nuance that I think you deserve.
In my practice, every patient relationship starts with two one-hour intake appointments. After that, we have regular check-ins every four months, and you can self-schedule additional, as needed appointments. You can also e-mail, text, or call me for quick questions or updates. If you are admitted to the hospital, I will contact and consult with your hospital physicians.
I receive discounted pricing on laboratory testing that I can pass along to my patients at cost plus 5% to cover administrative time and fees.

After hours & additional services
During after hours and weekends, I tell my patients to call me if they are not sure whether to go to urgent care or the emergency department. Otherwise, for non-urgent matters, I ask people to wait until the following business day.
For local patients, additional home visits can be arranged, if necessary, but additional fees will apply based on gas and mileage.
Special notes
In order to keep overhead low and my fees affordable, I do not currently have a physical office location. I will have a physical location in the future.
Phone and video interpreter services are available at no additional cost.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time. Paid monthly fees are non-refundable. If at least one month’s notice is given, I will create a safe care transition plan with you.
